In the fictional village of Coldwater, John (Andrew Lincoln), a disillusioned stay-at-home dad, relocates his family from London, seeking a fresh start. He befriends their confident neighbour, Tommy (Euan Bremner). As John gets closer to Tommy and strange events occur, his hidden past emerges, leading to disastourous consequences.
